Xtreme Route library

The Xtreme Route library is a software library that contains functionality for route planning, isochrones and fleet routing. It also contains support functionality for routing (networks, road segments, paths, sub-nets, etc.) as well as extensive support for calculations in parallel.

The library is developed in Microsoft. NET using C#, and targets .NET developers in need of powerful routing functionality. It's a high-level object oriented library, very easy to use and understand, yet powerful enough to solve very advanced routing problems.

The Xtreme Route library can be used in desktop applications, on web servers or as a service, and the support for automatic multi-threading makes it ideal for many server solutions. Its able to use many networks simultaneously, and can execute route calculations in parallel, both within the calculation and between different calculations. This is all handled within the library, so no extra development is needed.

To get more information about Xtreme Route library, with technical descriptions and samples, see Getting started with the Xtreme Route linrary.

Licensing

The Xtreme Route library is a commercial product and requires a license to use fully, but a subset of its functionality can be used without a license. Specifically, one-to-one routing does not require a license. For more info about licensing, see chapter 4 in the Getting started guide (link is available above).

Testing Xtreme Route library

If you like to try out Xtreme Route library, you can contact info@xtremeroute.com and ask for a time-limited license. You can also test one-to-one routing without a license.

To make testing easier, you can download and use this road network for UK which is imported from OpenStreetMap: UK road network.
