About

Universal.Operative.Sdk.Brave provides BraveWebSearchTool, an IWebSearchTool implementation backed by the Brave Search API, for use with Universal.Operative.Sdk. It's a drop-in alternative to Universal.Operative.Sdk.Tavily's web search tool for callers who wire up web search explicitly.

Brave's API has no include/exclude-domain parameters, so allowed_domains/blocked_domains are applied via the site:/-site: query operators instead.

How to Use

Installation

dotnet add package Universal.Operative.Sdk.Brave

Usage

using Universal.Operative.Sdk.Brave.Tools;

var tools = new List<ITool>(BaselineTools.Create())
{
    new BraveWebSearchTool(braveApiKey),
};

IEngine engine = EngineBuilder.FromDefaults(model)
    .AddTools(tools)
    .Build();
