1- Create your mapping types that inherits MapperBase

 public class UserMapper : MapperBase<User, UserViewModel>
{
    public override UserViewModel Map(User item)
    {
        var to = new UserViewModel();
        to.Address = item.Address;
        to.Email = item.Email;
        return to;
    }

    public override User Map(UserViewModel item)
    {
        var to = new User();
        to.Address = item.Address;
        to.Email = item.Email;
        return to;
    }
}

2- Create your own mapping definitions

MainMapper.AddMapping(typeof(User), typeof(UserViewModel), typeof(UserMapper)); MainMapper.AddMapping(typeof(Role), typeof(RoleViewModel), typeof(RoleMapper));

3- Call your mapping

MainMapper.Map(obj); //will return the matching type automatically
