tagua render takes its data from invoice.data.yaml next to the template, or from --data, in the template's own shape (parameters, and the rows of each dataset), and generates sample values for anything missing, so a new template renders before any data exists. With --watch it renders again whenever the template, its data or a file it uses (subreports, fonts, images) changes; errors are printed with their location and the last good PDF stays in place. Complex scripts are shaped with HarfBuzz.

tagua render uses the license in TAGUA_LICENSE (community, trial, professional or enterprise). Without it, it renders under the Community license, which is free for companies with fewer than 100 people and less than USD 1 million in revenue and for noncommercial use, and says so. The terms are in LICENSE.txt.
