PsdUtilities.WindowsHooks
What hooks are supported?
- Low-level keyboard hook
- Low-level mouse hook
How to use it?
IDisposable myHook = new LowLevelKeyboardHook();
myHook.SetHook();
// Either register the hooking event
myHook.Hooked += context => ...;
// Or use the IAsyncEnumerable<> event stream
await foreach (var event in myHook.GetEventStreamAsync())
{
Console.WriteLine(event.ToString());
}
How does it work?
- When you invoke
SetHook(), a separate thread is created that registers a Windows hook. - Callback procedure is stored and provided to that hook.
- Once the hook triggers, an event fires simultaneously (
Hookedevent). - Async event streams are managed through async
Channels.
