IDS peak IPL for .NET

The IDS peak IPL provides high-performance image processing routines optimized for machine vision. It is primarily used to convert raw camera data into display-ready formats, perform debayering, and handle image transformations.

Install the package via NuGet:

Quickstart

Create an Image from Size

using IDSImaging.Peak.IPL;

Manual Image Creation from Raw Memory

If you have a pointer to raw memory (e.g., from a custom buffer or third-party source):

[!TIP] Recommended Approach: Although images can be created manually, it is strongly recommended to use the BufferToImage function provided by the IDSImaging.Peak.API.IPLExtension class in the IDSImaging.Peak.API package. This approach ensures that metadata and auto-features remain correctly synchronized.

Common Task: Converting Formats

A frequent use case is converting a raw Bayer image from a camera to an RGB format for display:
