Examples

Example 1: Integrate the Web Dashboard into an ASP.NET Web Forms Application

1. Drag the ASPxDashboard control from the DX: Data & Analytics tab in the Toolbox onto an .aspx page. Visual Studio automatically registers the control.

2. Create the App_Data/Dashboards folder, then set the DashboardStorageFolder property to specify the folder used to load and save dashboards:

Change ASPxDashboard.WorkingMode from Designer to ViewerOnly to prevent end users from editing dashboards.

Example 2: Customize the Control with the Client-Side API

Handle the BeforeRender client-side event to access the DashboardControl instance. The following code registers the Dashboard Panel extension, which displays a list of available dashboards, and disables export functionality:
